Ingredients
• 3 tablespoons melted butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp milk
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 3/4 teaspoons salt
• 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch
• 2-1/4 teaspoon regular baking powder
• 1 cup blueberries
Directions
In a medium size bowl, whisk together melted butter, vanilla, milk, and sugar. Add dry ingredients and whisk thoroughly. Fold in blueberries.
Heat up a large pan and add a bit of butter and a drink of oil to heat, then add a dollop of batter to test when it’s hot enough. When you hear the sizzle, add dollops of pancakes in whatever size you like your pancakes.
How do you know when it’s time to flip your pancakes? Like Chef Anne says in season three of Worst Cooks in America, it’s time to flip when the pancake batter bubbles and stays bubbled.
Enjoy with REAL maple syrup, none of this fake sugar stuff.
